Lydia began dancing ballet at the age of 3 in her hometown Manchester. At the age of 16 she was awarded a scholarship at the prestigious Hammond School a specialist co-educational performing arts school. There she trained professionally in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and musical theatre. She Graduated with a Diploma in Professional Dance certified by Trinity College London. Lydia is also a fully qualified teacher of dancing with the IDTA ( International dance teachers association )

After graduation, Lydia spent 7 successful years as a dancer, dance captain and choreographer in many contracts worldwide, and had the chance to dance in both the theatre and the corporate TV worlds.

In 2014 Lydia became a full time Dance Teacher and Artistic Director working with young learners from diverse language backgrounds at a British International school in Dubai. Whilst in Dubai, Lydia also gained the qualification in Teaching English as a foreign language.

Most recently Lydia moved from Dubai to Barcelona and set up her school. Lydia prides herself on her ability to develop youngsters to reach their full potential and giving all students the chance to achieve their very best, alongside developing a love of dance.
